Introduction

This Privacy Policy details how Blogverse ("we", "us", "our"), which runs the website at blogverse.co, handles information regarding collection, usage, disclosure, and protection whenever you visit the platform.

We take your privacy seriously and ensure that data collection stays strictly minimal. We never sell any personal data, nor do we share it with advertisers.

If you need to reach out regarding privacy questions, you can contact us at blogverse.official@gmail.com.

Information We Collect

Information You Provide

Whenever you fill out the Get Featured, Advertise, or any contact form across our site, here is the information we gather:

  • Your name
  • Your email address
  • Your company or brand name (if you choose to provide it)
  • Whatever message or inquiry you submit
  • The specific page URL where you submitted the form

Information Collected Automatically

Every time you open or view a page on our site, our systems automatically log a few standard details:

  • The exact URL you accessed
  • The date and time of your visit
  • A shortened version of your IP address, browser type, operating system, and language settings, which are combined into a one-way SHA-256 hash to act as a "device fingerprint"
  • Whether the incoming request looks like it came from an automated bot or web scraper
  • The referrer URL (the web page you came from), provided your browser sends that information

That device fingerprint is a completely non-reversible hash. There is no way for us to trace it back to your real identity, and its sole purpose is to filter out duplicate visits within a rolling 24-hour window so our site's traffic stats stay fair and honest.

Cookies and Similar Technologies

Blogverse uses the following cookies and local storage items:

  • Essential: a session cookie (to help you navigate the site smoothly and keep admin sessions safe), your cookie consent choices, and your light/dark mode preference.
  • Analytics (only with your permission): Google Analytics 4 (_ga, ga*)—details are outlined in Section 3.1.

When you visit the site for the first time, a banner pops up so you can either accept or decline non-essential cookies. You can also wipe or clear cookies whenever you want right through your browser settings.

Third-Party Services

Blogverse relies on the third-party services listed below. Keep in mind that their own individual privacy policies govern any data they process:

Google Analytics 4

Measurement ID: G-E4KC1XPWGW. Google Analytics helps us track overall traffic trends, such as which articles get the most readership, how people find us, what devices they use, and general location details down to the country or city level. We turn on IP anonymization wherever the platform allows it. You can check out Google's privacy policy at https://policies.google.com/privacy.

Google Fonts

The website fetches the "Outfit" typeface straight from Google Fonts (fonts.googleapis.com, fonts.gstatic.com). Loading these assets means Google receives your IP address. However, Google maintains that data gathered from Fonts requests isn't used for ad targeting.

Bing IndexNow and Yandex

Whenever we put out a new article, our platform automatically alerts the IndexNow protocol so search engines like Bing and Yandex can index the fresh page sooner. This process only sends over the updated URL itself, with zero personal details attached.

Google Search Console and Bing Webmaster Tools

Both platforms gather aggregated search data regarding Blogverse, covering details like search queries that brought readers to the site, impression numbers, and overall click-through rates. Neither service tracks or reveals individual visitors.

Content Delivery Networks (CDNs)

To make the site function smoothly, we pull in a few JavaScript libraries such as Toastify, SweetAlert2, AOS, and Lucide icons from public content delivery networks like jsDelivr and unpkg. When your browser fetches these files, it shares your IP address with those respective CDN providers.

Hosting

Our website is hosted on shared infrastructure managed by Spaceship Internet Inc. Server logs kept by the hosting provider can include standard data such as IP addresses and request timestamps. We do not have direct control over how long the provider retains those logs.

How We Use Information

  • Deliver the pages and content you request.
  • Display and rank articles, news updates, and author profiles across the site.
  • Respond directly to your inquiries and message submissions.
  • Measure general traffic patterns (like which articles resonate most, page loading speeds, and what search terms bring readers here).
  • Spot and prevent spam, malicious activity, and potential security threats.
  • Enhance the site's overall design, user experience, and performance.
  • Fulfill any applicable legal requirements.

We do not:

  • Sell your personal data to anyone.
  • Share your inquiry details with third parties, except when necessary to answer your request.
  • Use your data for automated decision-making or profiling that produces legal consequences.

Legal Bases (for EU/UK readers)

For regions where the GDPR or UK GDPR applies, we rely on these specific legal grounds:

  • Legitimate interests: running the website smoothly, monitoring overall site traffic, and shielding the platform from abuse or security risks.
  • Consent: setting up analytics cookies, which we only activate after you click accept on our cookie banner.
  • Contract or pre-contractual steps: reviewing and replying to Get Featured or Advertise inquiries that you send us.
  • Legal obligations: keeping records whenever we are required to do so by applicable law.

Data Retention

  • Inquiry submissions: saved for up to 24 months following our last interaction, after which they are removed.
  • Visit logs: raw log entries stay on file for up to 90 days, while anonymous aggregated totals (such as daily or monthly visitor counts) are kept indefinitely.
  • Google Analytics: managed under Google's standard retention settings, which we have set to the default 14-month period.
  • Hosting and server logs: stored directly by our hosting provider according to their standard policy terms.

Your Rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the following rights regarding your personal information:

  • Access: Ask for a copy of any personal data we hold about you.
  • Rectification: Request that we correct any inaccurate or incomplete details.
  • Erasure: Ask us to delete your personal information ("right to be forgotten").
  • Restriction: Request that we limit how we use or process your data.
  • Objection: Object to data processing that relies on legitimate interests.
  • Portability: Request your personal data in a structured, standard machine-readable format.
  • Withdraw consent: Pull back your consent at any time where processing is based on your permission.
  • Lodge a complaint: File a concern or complaint directly with your local data protection authority.

To exercise any of these rights, simply email us at blogverse.official@gmail.com with your request, including the email address you used for your inquiry (if applicable). We aim to respond within 30 days.

Children’s Privacy

While Blogverse is intended for a general audience, it is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 13. If you believe we might have inadvertently gathered data from a child under 13, please reach out to us so we can promptly delete it.

Security

We take sensible measures to safeguard the information we collect:

  • Full-site HTTPS encryption (TLS) across every page.
  • Secure administrative access protected by password authentication and login rate-limiting to prevent brute-force attacks.
  • Isolated database and file uploads stored securely outside public web directories.
  • Consistent updates applied to the underlying Laravel framework and server environment.

While no method of transmitting data over the internet can be guaranteed as completely secure, in the unlikely event of a security breach that impacts your personal data, we will notify you by email where appropriate and legally required.

International Data Transfers

Blogverse is operated out of Pakistan, while our hosting provider maintains servers that may be located in the United States or Europe. If you access the site from the EU, the UK, or another region, your information could be transferred to and processed in countries where data protection regulations differ from those in your home jurisdiction. By using the website, you acknowledge and accept these cross-border transfers.

Do Not Track

Some web browsers offer a "Do Not Track" (DNT) setting. Because there is no universal industry standard for handling these signals, Blogverse does not currently react to automated DNT requests. However, you can easily control your privacy through our cookie banner, which allows you to decline all non-essential cookies regardless of your browser's DNT settings.

Links to External Sites

Our site includes links to external third-party websites. We have no control over and are not responsible for their individual privacy practices. We encourage you to review the privacy policy of any external site you visit before sharing your personal information.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Whenever changes are made, we will adjust the "Last updated" date displayed at the top of the page. Any significant or material updates will be announced directly on our homepage. We recommend checking back here periodically to stay informed.
