Corrections Policy.
Spotted a factual error? Email us. We fix it inline with a dated correction note - never a quiet deletion.
How to report a correction
Email blogverse.official@gmail.com with:
- The URL of the article
- The specific claim you believe is incorrect
- A source we can verify (link preferred)
We acknowledge every correction request within two business days.
How we handle corrections
- Factual errors (a wrong figure, misspelled name, misstated date): corrected inline. A "Correction: ..." note is appended at the bottom of the article with the date the correction was made and what changed.
-
Significant errors that change an article's conclusion: corrected inline,
a prominent correction note added at the top of the article, and the article's
dateModifiedtimestamp is updated. - Typos, grammar, and formatting: fixed silently without a note.
- Updates to a developing story (new information published after the original article): added inline with an "Update: ..." note and the new date.
What we don't do
- We do not quietly delete or rewrite published claims to hide errors.
- We do not take down articles under pressure from the subjects of our coverage.
- We do not require you to prove you have standing - anyone can submit a correction.
Retractions
If an entire article is found to be substantially wrong, we retract it: the article page stays live with the original content clearly marked as retracted and a note explaining why. This preserves the record and lets readers see what was corrected.
